No one likes someone that is fake. We strive to live an authentic life, and part of that is being transparent. Transparency reveals who we are and what we do. But, at what level are we to be transparent? How much of our lives should be an open book?
I grew up in the church. I'm a pastor's kid. I've seen "the good, the bad, and the ugly" of church life. Through it all, I've learned a few important lessons. Mainly, that people are messy, including me. We are bundles of emotions and drives that we can't fully understand. This world isn't perfect, I'm far from perfect, but I know Jesus is.
